Harris St. Laurent & Wechsler Expands With New Hires

January 23, 2025

Harris St. Laurent & Wechsler LLP continues to expand its talent base amid a surge in demand for its services across its three main practice areas.

The firm has added counsel John “Jack” Millson, discovery counsel and directory of technology Michael McClain and associates (including those pending admission) Tina Lapsia, Arshiya Sharda, Hetali Sheth, Caroline Libby, Joseph DeBlasi and Jonathan Fuller. In addition, HSW continues to invest in building out its professional staff and infrastructure.

This strategic growth reflects powerful performance in all three of the firm's core areas — employment, high-stakes commercial litigation and white-collar defense and investigations.

“We follow a simple formula: work relentlessly for our clients," HSW managing partner Jonathan Harris said. "These steps are about adding talent and capacity to deliver great service."

Jack Millson joined the firm as counsel and represents clients in complex litigation and employment matters. Millson graduated cum laude from New York University School of Law in 2014.

Michael McClain is discovery counsel and directory of technology, overseeing the firm’s entire technology infrastructure, including its artificial intelligence initiatives and the implementation of technology in discovery. McClain obtained his law degree from the American University Washington College of Law and his LLM in Securities and Financial Regulation from the Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law.

Tina Lapsia joined the firm as a litigation associate from a clerkship with U.S. District Judge Vernon D. Oliver of the District of Connecticut. While an associate at an Am Law firm in 2022, Lapsia was recognized on the Lawyers of Color’s Hot List for her litigation work. Lapsia holds a law degree from the University of Pennsylvania.

Arshiya Sharda is a dual-qualified associate admitted to practice in New York and India. She joined the firm from a clerkship with New York Supreme Court Justice Andrea Masley. She obtained her LLM from Columbia Law School and her law degree from the National Academy of Legal Studies and Research University of Law in India. In Mumbai, she worked as an associate in the capital markets practice group of one of India’s largest firms.

Hetali Sheth is an associate admitted to practice in Maharashtra and Goa in India. Her admission is pending in New York. Sheth earned an LLM from Cornell Law School, where she worked on death penalty cases in the International Human Rights Clinic.  She obtained her law degree in India from Government Law College.

Caroline Libby is an associate on HSW’s employment team, adding to the firm's already deep bench of talent. She obtained her law degree at the University of Virginia and is a former judicial intern for New Jersey Superior Court Judge Thomas M. Moore.

Joe DeBlasi joined the firm after graduating from St. John’s University School of Law, where he was a St. Thomas More Scholar. DeBlasi first joined HSW as an intern in 2023.

Jonathan Fuller joined the firm as an associate (pending bar admission) after graduating from St. John’s University School of Law, where he was a Dean’s Scholar. He also served as competition director for the St. John’s Moot Court Honor Society and editor for the American Bankruptcy Institute Law Review. Fuller first joined HSW as an intern in 2023.
